Salt is the other constant. A hundred feet from open Gulf, the air attacks fasteners, heater components, handrails, and pad hardware years before it would inland, so corrosion-resistant equipment is not an upgrade here, it is the only sensible specification. Getting excavation equipment onto a narrow barrier island lot, sometimes down a single-lane street with nowhere to stage a truck, is a real constraint too, and we walk that access route at the first appointment so it is priced into your proposal from the start rather than added later as a change order. Many properties along these islands have been rebuilt or repaired over the past couple of years, and elevated equipment paired with corrosion-resistant hardware is simply how a pool gets built here now.
